PVFD Wilderness first responder Elise Boisvert and ambulance driver Rachel Brummet hold the trophy won by the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department at Friday night's Guns vs Hoses chili cook-off. Fifteen chilis were entered between the PVFD and the Petersburg Police Department teams. Around $1,100 was raised - which, with a few more donations and combined with last year's cook-off fundraising, is expected to be enough to purchase the FLIR thermal imaging device for the harbor security skiff.
