WAVE hires new executive director

Skyler DuPont, 29, is officially the new executive director at local nonprofit Working Against Violence for Everyone (WAVE).

They are entering the role in succession of Everett Bennett, who stepped down from the position earlier this year to work at PIA.

WAVE is a small independent nonprofit that provides support and advocacy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and promotes safe relationships and community in the Petersburg Borough.
