A Juneau jury convicted 21-year-old John Bisset of Petersburg of two counts of sexual assault in the first degree on July 29 at the Dimond Courthouse. The verdict followed a two-week-long trial presided over by Superior Court Judge Amy Mead. Jurors acquitted Bisset of two other counts of sexual assault.
