November 6, 1925 – The motor-ship Boxer was in Port Wednesday with four hundred reindeer carcasses on board, some of which were sold to the local markets. The Boxer, with its Eskimo crew, is on its way south from the Point Barrow district. It has a 300-HP Atlas diesel and is commanded by Captain Whitlan. The passengers on board were Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Andrews and six school teachers from Wainwright, in the Arctic Circle.
