With spring (officially) underway, the Petersburg High School Track and Field team have hit the ground running with fierce and intense competition. Due to the extended winter Petersburg has seen, the team has mostly been focusing on conditioning and physically preparing themselves for the fast season.
While the team has only been practicing for a little bit, head coach Casey Gates already has an idea of the potential strengths of this year's squad.
