To the Editor: I am Pastor Ken Severa, the new Pastor here at Petersburg Lutheran Church. I would like to highlight one of our projects. Earlier this month we hosted our annual “Basement Sale.” The purpose of the sale is to provide slightly used clothing, kitchen articles, and other treasures, along with soup and bread and goodies and books to the community in an inexpensive way. The other purpose is to raise money for the food programs in Petersburg.
