Assembly clears the way for loan applications on two EPA-required wastewater studies

The Petersburg Borough Assembly voted unanimously Monday to authorize the borough manager to apply for and execute two state revolving fund loans, each of up to $150,000, to pay for a pair of wastewater studies the borough is required to complete under its federal discharge permit by Nov. 1.

Both loans would come through the Alaska Clean Water Fund.
