New ordinance would add nepotism standards for elected officials to borough code

The Petersburg Borough Assembly gave unanimous first-reading approval Monday to an ordinance that would establish nepotism standards for the borough’s elected officials, filling a gap the mayor said has sat in the borough charter without implementing code.
