Jeffery Lee "Jeff" Robinson

After a valiant fight, Jeff moved on to more abundant hunting grounds on August 29, 2012.

Jeff grew up in a small Georgia town and like most young boys Jeff loved the outdoors. He spent every available moment hunting, fishing, hiking and exploring the wilderness around him. Jeff was known for doing float trips in his trusty canoe on the rivers and lakes around Georgia with many close friends. Jeff graduated from Rockdale high school in 1983 and soon met his devoted wife Jenny in early 1984.

Jeff always dreamed of going to Alaska and experiencing the true wilderness, so in May of 1994 Jeff and Jenny sold everything they had and headed north settling in Petersburg. While in Petersburg Jeff worked for Norquest Seafoods, Jack Hicks Electrical, and his favorite job at Petersburg Shipwrights.  Jeff's attention to detail and the quality in his work was well known by the whole fishing community.

While in Alaska Jeff had many exciting adventures and memorable hunting trips with friends, family and most of all, his loyal chocolate lab "Bubba Dog". Jeff will always be known as an avid outdoorsman, a true friend and most of all, a loving husband.

Jeff is survived by his caring wife Jenny Robinson of Gravette, Ark., Father-Howard Robinson of Conyers, Ga, Mother, Brenda Robinson of Loganville, Ga, Brother, Shannon and Mandy Robinson of Buford, Ga, In laws, Perry Allen of Covington, Ga, Linda Allen of Covington, Ga, Perry and Valerie Allen of Petersburg, Scott and Angie Bogle of Covington, Ga, Richard & Karen Belcher of Covington, Ga, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Abby Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Cicle, Ga. 30025.

A celebration of life will be held next summer in Petersburg.
