June 23 – DM S. Harry was sentenced under the terms of a plea agreement on charges of felony DUI third offense. He was ordered to serve 24-months with 20 suspended, pay $10,000 fine, 3-years probation, life-time license revocation, $300 in surcharges and was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center by July 14. Charges of violating conditions of release and refusal to submit were dismissed.

June 24 – Joshua Michael Goeden entered a guilty plea to a charge of taking a female bear with cub present. The court sentenced the defendant to a $300 fine and forfeiture of bear hide and skull.
