November 4, 1921 Word has recently been received here to the effect that Mr. Jacob Otness has been appointed postmaster for Petersburg, to succeed J.C. Allen, resigned. Mr. Otness will resume office as soon as practicable. Mr. Otness, who has been a resident of Petersburg for many years, is well known and has a number of admirers who are confident that he will make good in his new position. We wish to extend our wishes both to the retiring postmaster and to Mr. Otness.
