Alaskans for Better Elections will hold a presentation on Alaska’s new ranked choice voting system in the Petersburg Borough Assembly chambers on Thursday at 6 p.m. and via Zoom as the special election to fill the late Rep. Don Young’s seat approaches.

Jason Grenn, the executive director of the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, will discuss how the system works as well as the differences between the primary and general elections.
