    Marcus Hom, lead instructor for Dark Horse Defense has taken on the task of developing an emergency response plan for the Petersburg Schools. Hom attended the regular meeting of the Petersburg School Board Tuesday, Feb. 19 to update the board on the progress of the plan.     The Petersburg Middle School Viking wrestlers traveled to Ketchikan to participate in the Region V Tournament recently and came home fourth place winners. Petersburg scored 169.5 points as a team and came in just behind Sitka with 175.5; Wrangell with 190 and Ketchikan placed first in the tournament with 266.5 points.     Robin Verline Lane, 52, passed away February 14, 2013 after a short battle with cancer in Anchorage. Robin was born on September 12, 1960 to Roger and Judy Johnson at Fort Lewis/McChord Air Force Base. Robin also lived in Kemerer, Wyo. and Mountain Home, Idaho before graduating from Meridian High School of Idaho in 1978. Robin worked in Student Services at Boise State University for 14 years.     Approximately three years ago, Petersburg Police Sergeant Heidi Agner began an investigation that has taken years to finally come to fruition.
