Petersburg Pilot -

Dean Oliver Wright, 37, of Petersburg Alaska, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2018 in Anchorage Alaska.

He was born in Wrangell, Alaska to Jana Lee Wright and Calvert Martin on January 3, 1981. He married Rufinia Hanson, in Petersburg on August 3, 2013. He worked for various companies around both Wrangell and Petersburg and was beloved by everyone that knew him. His true passions in life were cooking and his loving family. He always had a smile on his face and joke to share with others. He truly enjoyed being able to bring happiness to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Edna and Vernon Wright; as well as his two unborn angels.

He is survived by his wife Rufinia; children Gavynn, Kingston and Aubrianna; brothers Brian and Jonny; sisters Geminesse, Jazmyn and Jacquelyn; parents Jana Wright and Calvert Martin along with his numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Petersburg on Thurs. January 3, at the Lighthouse Church at 4:00 p.m.. A reception will follow.
