Brian Varela / Petersburg Pilot

The local Veterans of Foreign Wars placed over 200 bronze stars and flags on the graves of local Veterans at the Petersburg Cemetery, with help from the Boy Scouts, last weekend for Memorial Day. A special service was held by local pastors and the crowd sang patriot songs and hymns and one person recited the Gettysburg Address.
