Pilot reporter Brian Varela Dec. 5 reporting on the assembly meeting highlights regarding the Roadless Rule Resolution, skimmed over or forgot to mention some critical points.

Ten borough residents did speak in some of the most knowledgeable and fact detailed reasons why they thought the Roadless Rule was extremely important to uphold. The testimony offered was some of the most passionate and heartfelt observations from fisheries professional geologists, lifetime commercial fishermen, subsistence and hunters, covering the issue from A to Z.
