Through a break in the fog

Last Wednesday night, a spectacular solar storm lit up the night sky all across the state. Though, soon after the auroras began above Petersburg, fog rolled in and veiled the light show. Those patient enough to watch for momentary breaks in the fog were rewarded with an extraordinary sight.
