Rose Ann Sheldon was born in Kake, Alaska on June 3, 1927 to Jesse and Annie Coday.

Rose lived in Kake, Alaska until she was old enough for school, at that time Rose and her family moved to Petersburg where she attended school, until she later attended Wrangell Institute. She was active in sports and played Basketball.

She met her husband Bob at a dance on July 4th, 1948. It was love at first sight. As she and Bob were married on September 14th, 1948 in Juneau, Alaska. In 1951 they bought their first home on Wrangell Ave. and lived there until Rose moved to Mountain View Manor in 2016 and spen...
